It seems that as public interest in a dead c...。主要讲述了名扬中外的藏刀第五代传人多吉的故事。多吉不仅以打造宝刀闻名，还肩负着保护山区野生动物的重任。由于年事已高，他希望将藏刀技艺传给儿子扎旺，但扎旺因考上大学而不愿继续这一传统行业。父子因此产生矛盾，最终导致扎旺离家出走，多吉被捕杀野生动物团伙重伤身亡。扎旺在经历了一系列波折后，最终回到家乡开设了藏刀加工厂，继续守护这片净土。。高级警官华岂伦（陈小春饰）奉命调查此案，他出人意料地选了即将退休又胆小怕死的老警察介叔（柯受良饰）做他的搭档。其实介叔以前也很勇猛，他的两个干儿子晓泰（古天乐饰）和子年（谢天华饰）也是警察，当年三人同在旺角警署工作，号称“旺角三鹰”，但后来不知怎么子年殉职，晓泰坐牢，介叔也日渐消沉。。
