In the near future, Norway is occupied by Russia on behalf of the European Union, due to the fact that the newly elected environmental friendly Norwegian government has stopped the all important oil- and gas-production in the North Sea。在一场史诗般的机器人大战结束一千年后，死敌佐克和平基醒来时，对他们是谁或是如何被锁在一起的记忆荡然无存。为了寻找答案，他们开始在贫瘠的荒原上漫游，寻找所有机器人的创造者拉姆——一路上结交新朋友，也结交一些敌人。但当他们回忆起过去，他们新建立的友谊会比牢不可破的锁链更牢固吗？。
